We offer confidential counseling to students on a range of issues such as planning, decision making, problem solving, social and emotional development and redressal of their grievances. For more details see our counseling page 3.Student Organisations: The involvement of students in non-academic activities helps them to develop a useful network of friends and also immensely benefits their studies by broadening their outlook and skills such as teamwork, inter-personal communications and leadership. We actively encourage the formation of various student organisations. 4. Interaction With Industry Testing: Laboratories test and/or certify equipment for conformity to national or other specifications for a wide variety of end uses eg.Centrifugal pumps,piping metering, power supply related instruments; compression,tension and fatigue in constructional materials and so on. Part-Time Courses: The college runs Part-time degree and Post-graduate courses aimed at working engineers who are sponsored by their employers or come on their own in order to update their knowledge and skills. Seminars and Workshops: The college holds regular seminars,workshops and symposiums in which engineers and other eminent personalities address students and participants from industry,the consultancy profession and academia. Visiting faculty:Distinguished members of Engineering faculty are invited to take courses or give lectures to students in emerging areas of the Engineering Sciences.
